Ellie Loses Long Locks to Raise Money for Little Princess Trust

Last weekend we met a fundraising superstar, Ellie Bate, who was brave enough to have her long locks cut off for a good cause.

15-year-old Ellie came into the Pink hair salon for a haircut with a difference – rather than just leaving the hair to be swept up off the floor, Ellie chose to donate her hair – all 15 inches - to The Little Princess Trust, raising an amazing £355!

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs to boys and girls throughout the UK who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.  Real hair wigs are provided free of charge to the children helped by the charity, however they do rely on hair donations from kind hearted individuals such as Ellie, otherwise they have to purchase the most suitable wig for each child at a considerable cost to the trust.

Ellie’s donation is therefore not only saving The Little Princess Trust valuable money but giving a young person their confidence and identity back, whilst they deal with a difficult condition.
We’d like to say a big well done and thanks to Ellie for being such a proud supporter of this fantastic children’s cancer charity.
